How was your first rehearsal?

I have never sung in a choir like this before.

As I didn't know what section I belonged to, I was placed with the sopranos. Far too high!

I liked the experience and how helpful the people were. I find it challenging to sing in tune and remember the words.

What encouraged you to join Waltham Forest Community Choir?

I have always wanted to sing. To sing with many people is a very uplifting experience that gives me a lot of pleasure. 

What changes have you seen since you joined?

I was starting to follow the scores and the different aspects of the singing.

What, so far has  been the highlight of your time with Waltham Forest Community Choir?

I loved singing at the Barbican

How, if at all, has the choir impacted your day to day life?

I am still very new and unfortunately all this lockdown has happened when I was still a beginner.

What are your hopes for the future?

I am looking forward to going back to normal rehearsals and learning more songs.

I will like to sing in venues and get more involved in the choir.
