Founded in 2010, Waltham Forest Community Choir is a friendly, self funded local choir for people living and working in Waltham Forest,
We sing in four-part harmony and regularly perform around the borough at community events and also as part of our outreach programme with local community groups. We also hold our own concerts at St Mary's Church. Our repertoire is diverse from choral pieces to pop, folk and jazz classics with something for everyone.
In 2019, as part of the London Borough Of Culture, we took part in the first annual performance of Handel's Messiah with local opera singers Tom Randle and Gillian Keith.
We have also participated in music premieres at the Tate Modern and the Barbican.
We welcome new members to join the choir. You don't need to audition or have formal training, you just need to love singing! We are usually learning pieces over a few weeks for future events, so we ask people to commit for at least a term.
Currently we have limitations on our capacity for rehearsals. So, if you would like to join us for a free trial session, please email info@singwithus.net (please check your spam/junkmail box for replies) and we will advise a date for you to attend.
Why not hire Waltham Forest Community Choir to entertain at your next event? We can perform at charity events, community Entertainment events, christmas events, awards nights and concerts .
